The Senior QA/QC Engineer will lead quality assurance and control activities for NoVi Designs & Finishing's interior design, fit‑out, finishing and construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, MEP standards and client expectations. Reports directly to Ahmed Mohsen, CEO.
المسؤوليات
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans for residential, commercial and hospitality fit‑out projects, aligning with architectural, MEP and 3D visualisation deliverables.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify workmanship, material quality, and adherence to project specifications and local building codes.
- Coordinate with design, project management and construction teams to resolve non‑conformities and drive corrective actions within schedule constraints.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, test reports, punch lists and as‑built records for all phases of a project.
- Lead the review of subcontractor qualifications, material submittals and shop drawings, ensuring compliance with NoVi's standards and client requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and training to site foremen, supervisors and junior QA/QC staff on quality procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor key quality metrics and prepare monthly performance dashboards for senior management.
- Participate in client hand‑over meetings, addressing quality concerns and ensuring final acceptance criteria are met.
المتطلبات
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of QA/QC experience in interior fit‑out, finishing or construction contracting, preferably on mixed‑use projects.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian building codes, MEP standards and international quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
- Proficiency with QA/QC software tools (e.g., Procore, BIM 360, Navisworks) and MS Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP and 3D visualisation drawings.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and report‑writing skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Leadership experience managing a QA/QC team and coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
