About the role
The Senior MEP Tendering Engineer at NoVi Designs & Finishing will lead the preparation, coordination and submission of MEP packages for interior fit‑out, finishing and turnkey projects across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors, reporting directly to Ahmed Mohsen.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed MEP tender packages (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) aligned with architectural and 3D visualisation drawings for interior fit‑out and finishing projects.
- Coordinate with design, project management and procurement teams to ensure accurate scope, quantities and specifications in all tender documents.
- Conduct value engineering and cost‑optimization studies while maintaining compliance with local building codes and client quality standards.
- Lead technical clarifications, site visits and pre‑tender meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Prepare and review BOQ, cost estimates, and pricing sheets; negotiate with MEP subcontractors to achieve competitive yet profitable bids.
- Monitor tender progress, maintain a tender tracker, and ensure submission deadlines are met for all residential, commercial and hospitality contracts.
- Support post‑tender negotiations, contract award processes and handover of awarded MEP packages to the project execution team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field; professional engineering license preferred.
- 8+ years of hands‑on experience in MEP tendering for interior fit‑out, finishing or turnkey construction projects in Egypt.
- Proven track record of preparing accurate BOQs, cost estimates and tender submissions for residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian building codes, MEPE standards and sustainability guidelines (e.g., EGBC, LEED).
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and 3D visualisation tools used by NoVi Designs & Finishing.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and mentor junior engineers within the Tendering Department.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

- Bid win rate: achieve ≥45% win ratio on qualified MEP tenders per quarter.
- Cost reduction: deliver an average of 5% cost saving through value engineering on all submitted packages.
- On‑time delivery: 100% of tender documents submitted before the client deadline.
- Client satisfaction: maintain a minimum client rating of 4.5/5 on post‑tender feedback surveys.
