About the role
The Senior Architecture Site Engineer at NoVi Designs & Finishing will lead on‑site execution of interior design, fit‑out, MEP and finishing works for residential, commercial and hospitality projects, ensuring design intent and quality standards are met. Reports directly to Ahmed Mohsen, CEO.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on‑site activities for interior fit‑out and finishing works, ensuring compliance with architectural drawings, 3D visualisations and MEP specifications.
- Manage subcontractors and trades (carpentry, metalwork, HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to meet project schedules and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular site inspections, issue daily reports, and enforce safety and regulatory standards in line with Egyptian construction codes.
- Collaborate with the design and project management teams to resolve design clashes, value‑engineer solutions and maintain design intent throughout construction.
- Prepare and review as‑built documentation, shop drawings and material submittals for client approval.
- Control site budgets, track material usage and labor productivity, and report variances to the PMO.
- Lead site meetings, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure timely resolution of RFIs and change orders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field; professional registration in Egypt preferred.
- 8+ years of on‑site experience in interior fit‑out, finishing and MEP coordination for residential, commercial or hospitality projects.
- Proven track record delivering turnkey projects from concept to handover within budget and schedule.
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D visualisation tools used by NoVi Designs & Finishing.
- Strong understanding of Egyptian building codes, fire safety regulations and sustainability standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills with subcontractors and client representatives.
- Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and MEP drawings and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
