About the role
The Senior Construction Site Engineer will lead on‑site execution of construction projects for NoVi Holding's design & finishing subsidiary, ensuring alignment with group‑level strategy and governance. This role reports directly to Ahmed Mohsen, CEO.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction for NoVi Designs & Finishing projects, from mobilization to handover, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and luxury brand specifications.
- Coordinate with the PMO, shared services (HR, Finance, IT) and subsidiary design teams to integrate design intent, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and on‑site labor, enforcing safety protocols and quality control aligned with Maison Nefer's premium brand expectations.
- Prepare and present weekly progress, cost variance and risk reports to the CEO and the group’s strategy committee.
- Drive implementation of sustainable construction practices and material selections that reflect NoVi Holding’s commitment to eco‑luxury.
- Resolve technical site issues, conduct value engineering reviews and ensure adherence to local building codes and international best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and site supervisors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years of hands‑on site engineering experience on high‑end residential, boutique commercial or luxury retail projects in Egypt.
- Proven track record delivering projects valued at USD 10M+ within budget and schedule.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian construction regulations, BIM coordination and LEED/green building standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience interfacing with design studios, finance controllers and IT systems for project data integration.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6 and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Aconex).
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated leadership in safety management (OSHA/EGYOSHA certifications preferred).

- Cost variance: keep actual spend within ±5% of approved budget.
- Safety performance: zero lost‑time incidents and <2 recordable injuries per year.
- Quality compliance: <1% non‑conformance reports after final inspection.
- Client satisfaction: achieve ≥ 4.5/5 rating on post‑project surveys from internal stakeholders.
