Tulip Hotel in New Cairo commissioned NoVi for the interior design of its rooms and suites, an area of 145 m², in a modern style. The commission therefore centred on the guest's private spaces — the rooms in which a stay is actually lived — rather than on the public areas of the hotel.
A hotel room has to do many things in little space: sleep, work, dress, unpack and unwind, often for guests who arrive tired and want everything to be obvious. Suites add a second layer, separating living from sleeping. Every surface is used and cleaned daily, so a room must feel generous and calm while remaining practical and easy to maintain.
A modern style suits that brief: clean lines, restrained detailing and a considered palette let a room feel ordered and open. NoVi's interior design team worked on the rooms and the suites together, so that the two room types share one design language while each responds to its own layout and to the way guests use it.
