Restaurant & Coffee

The brief

The project is a restaurant and coffee shop of 160 m² in Sheikh Zayed, Giza, in an industrial style. NoVi's scope is on the execution side: interior finishing, electro-mechanical works, light current systems, seating and decorative elements — the works that take a space from bare shell to a furnished interior.

The challenge

An industrial interior looks simple but is unforgiving to build. Exposed ceilings, visible conduits and raw surfaces leave nowhere to hide services, so ducts, cable routes and fittings become part of the design and must be installed with care. In a compact restaurant and coffee shop, kitchen services, seating and circulation also have to share limited space.

Our approach

Carrying interior finishing, electro-mechanical works and light current under one scope allows these trades to be coordinated on site rather than layered one after the other. Service routes can be set out together with the finishes they will sit against, and light current systems planned alongside the power and mechanical works.

Seating and decorative elements sit within the same package, so the pieces guests actually touch and look at are handled together with the fabric of the room rather than as a separate order at the end, which helps keep the industrial character consistent from the ceiling to the table.
